Your procedure will be scheduled after your initial consultation to create your CoolSculpting® Elite treatment plan. During your appointment, a gel pad and new and improved CoolSculpting® applicator will be applied to the treatment area, and controlled cooling will begin. The cooling, delivered through the applicator, will begin to target and freeze the fat cells.

You will probably feel coolness during your treatment, but this typically does not cause great discomfort. As the applicator uses suction to pull the targeted fat into the treatment area, you may feel a slight tugging or pinching, but these are normal sensations.

Since the CoolSculpting® Elite procedure is nonsurgical, you will be able to return to your daily activities following treatment. In most cases, you can return to work or school immediately following your appointment.

Side effects of the procedure usually include redness, swelling, bruising, stinging, and tenderness of the treatment site. These side effects are temporary and will subside in the hours and days following your procedure. You can expect to begin seeing results in as little as three weeks, with the most dramatic and obvious results 1 – 3 months after your CoolSculpting® treatment.

How much does CoolSculpting Elite cost?
The price of your CoolSculpting® Elite treatment is dependent on the number of sessions needed and the amount of fat being removed. During your consultation, we will discuss your desired outcome to decide the best course of treatment to reach optimal results. We will also talk with you about your expected out-of-pocket costs. 

We offer several financing options through GreenSky, Care Credit and LendingUSA if necessary.

How does CoolSculpting Elite work?
CoolSculpting® Elite works by applying a controlled temperature to target fat cells in selected areas for treatment. Essentially, it freezes the fat cells until they die. The cells are then broken down by the body and released through natural functions.

Is CoolSculpting Elite safe?
CoolSculpting® Elite is a noninvasive, external treatment in which the device is applied only to the skin’s surface. There is no need for a recovery period, but you may experience some slight redness and swelling immediately after treatment.  This typically only lasts about a week.

How many treatment sessions will I need?
The number of treatments needed to achieve your wanted results will be decided during your initial consultation. For some patients,  one treatment is enough, but other patients may need more treatment sessions based on the number of areas treated and the amount of fat being removed. The total number of treatments is dependent on your aesthetic goals and if there are thicker layers of fat in target areas.

Do the fat cells grow back?
Fat cells do not regenerate, but significant weight gain will greatly affect your results as the remaining fat cells can expand. To maintain optimal results, it is important to adhere to a healthy diet and exercise routine.
